Why You Need a Buyer’s Agent When Looking for a Home

Many people don’t know what a Buyer’s agent is, and, even if they know the term, they think they have to pay for the agent’s service to them. That is far from the truth.

What many folks don’t understand is, by law, all of the real estate agents involved are working for the seller. This is true unless you have hired a real estate agent as a Buyer’s Agent.

We represent our buyers without a fee. The seller pays the commission and whatever the listing agent earns is always split with the selling agent (buyer’s agent). What this means is if you hire a buyers agent, then they work for you – they negotiate on your behalf while the listing agent always negotiates on behalf of the seller because they are the listing agents’ client.

Hiring a Buyer’s Agent always makes it better for the buyer because they will then have someone who knows what they want, works to accomplish that end and is not torn by trying to get the best deal for the seller.

This all means you have someone who is looking after your best interest and you don’t have to be concerned about their having a divided interest. Call us today and discuss this with us.
