Current Interest Rates 12/30/2010
We can expect interest rates to rise slowly over the coming year and they have been doing that since late summer of this year. Look for the 30-year fixed-rate loan is to rise slowly to about 5.3% near the end of 2011.
The forecast by the government is for national unemployment to drop to around 9.2%. This is good because more people working means more money at work and more people will be able to purchase a home.

15 Year Fixed 4.125% APR 4.4%
