Things Are Getting Better!
Concerning the real estate market in Kennesaw, Marietta and Acworth, I feel like Kevin Costner’s character in the movie, “THE POSTMAN.” He was heard to say, “Things are getting better. Things are getting better every day.” And that is what happened in the movie and is happening here in Georgia!
One thing I have learned is it is just as easy to believe for the good as it is to believe for the bad. So, that is exactly what we need to do—believe for the good. And don’t be surprised when that is exactly what comes your way because things are getting better.
Buyers are still in the market. Sellers are still selling, though fewer. But one thing that I notice is if your house is priced competitively and you have done some updates…
Snowing on Kennesaw Real Estate

As I sit looking out my office window at the beautiful falling snow, I am thinking of all the things I really need to be doing. I am also thinking about this housing market and how, when my home owners update the areas of their homes I suggest before putting them on the market, it seems they always sell fast.
Now, while it is true that you still have to be competitively priced when you sell your home, you also want your home to look up-to-date so you can enjoy it. As I sit here, I am thinking about why we all, (myself included,) wait till we are about to sell our homes before we update them. It’s really inexpensive to change a bathroom’s color or tile (one bath at a time) or paint a room and it just doesn’t take that long.
